During the month of August, we are featuring artwork from up and coming local artist Oriana Sage! Stop by during Art After Dark on August 2, 2019 from 6-9 p.m. to meet Oriana and to see her work. Her paintings will be up all month long.
Also during Art After Dark, we are featuring folk-rock music of local band Jasper Creek in our front patio. Come for the music, the art, and the refreshments.
Oriana Sage Bio
Oriana Sage is a fine artist and native of the Central Coast, specializing in oil painting and ink drawing. She studied Studio Art at Cal Poly and earned her BFA in Art and Design. In 2014 Oriana won the Cal Poly Arts and College of Liberal Arts Award for Outstanding Work in Studio Art. She has exhibited throughout the central coast and currently shares a Paso Robles studio, Atelier 708, with two other local artists and teaches private drawing lessons to children.
She is ever drawn toward the complexity, delicacy, and strength of the natural world and continually seeks to explore it’s wonders in her life and work.
Art After Dark is a free monthly event in downtown San Luis Obispo, California. On the first Friday of every month, local shops keep their doors open late, from 6pm-9pm, to support the arts by featuring a local artist. HumanKind Fair Trade participates every month with live music and refreshments in addition to the local artist. More information and listings of all participating venues can be found at Arts Obispo.
