Skilled knitters in Peru keep a traditional craft alive creating a collection of cute knit finger puppet people. Each puppet is brought to life with tiny detail, creativity and the cheerful spirit of each knitter in hopes of inspiring some joyful play.
These finger puppets come from Lucuma Designs based in Peru. Lucuma partners with over 300 artists, 80% of whom are women, to create their eco-friendly products. Lucuma is a member of the Fair Trade Federation and One Percent for the Planet, which means 1% of their sales to organizations that are restoring ecosystems, supporting indigenous communities, and protecting natural habitats.
