• Each piece is coated in a protective weather-resistant varnish. Metal art displayed outside will result in a rusted patina. If this is not a desired outcome it is recommended to annually spray the metal art with a clear gloss spray varnish (like Rust-Oleum) to keep it protected.

Artisans' designs are inspired by nature and Haitian culture. Patterns are first traced with white chalk onto flattened oil drums. The metal is cut and shaped using a hammer and chisel. Each detail is thoughtfully placed by the artist's skillful hand strokes. Be sure to look for the artist's name proudly chiseled into his or her metal sculpture.
