The Tote Project was founded by two friends united by a passion to fight human trafficking and support survivors. They believe in transforming pain into compassionate action for the greater good by creating ethically made, high-quality bags with fun designs.
Their mission focuses on sustainable impact through giving back, raising awareness and ethical manufacturing. They donate 10% of profits to nonprofits combating human trafficking, supporting survivor career academies, awareness campaigns, prevention programs for foster youth, and therapeutic art classes.
Committed to ethical production, The Tote Project ensures a trafficking-free supply chain by partnering with suppliers who prioritize people and the planet. Their bags are made without forced or child labor, offering fair wages and safe working conditions. They also use certified fabrics, with all cotton GOTS certified and 70% Fairtrade certified, along with recycled sari fabric for pouch linings.
Every purchase from The Tote Project helps fight human trafficking and supports survivors on their journey to a brighter future.
