This unique journal features a cover with a mom and baby elephant under a tree and eco-friendly paper made from a blend of elephant dung and post-consumer paper, cleaned and pulped to create thick textured pages. Ethically crafted in Sri Lanka.
Mr. Ellie Pooh products are made from 100% recycled content, combining fiber from elephant dung (30%) and recycled paper (70%). No trees or toxic chemicals are used in the unique paper making process. The paper is dyed with water-soluble salt dyes and bound with all natural vegetative agents. The elephants' vegetarian diet produced raw cellulose waste, which is thoroughly cleaned and processed into beautifully textured, acid-free, linen-like paper. Creating a product that aims to provide sustainable jobs and save the elephant population in Sri Lanka.
