This 4" journal features a penguin cover and eco-friendly paper made from a blend of cleaned and pulped elephant dung and post-consumer paper. With thick, textured pages and an ethically handcrafted design, its small size is perfect to carry on the go.
Mr. Ellie Pooh products are made from 100% recycled content, combining fiber from elephant dung (30%) and recycled paper (70%). No trees or toxic chemicals are used in the unique paper making process. The paper is dyed with water-soluble salt dyes and bound with all natural vegetative agents. The elephants' vegetarian diet produced raw cellulose waste, which is thoroughly cleaned and processed into beautifully textured, acid-free, linen-like paper. Creating a product that aims to provide sustainable jobs and save the elephant population in Sri Lanka.
