This product is from Ganesh Himal Trading, a company that has been working in Nepal for over thirty years. Founded in 1984, their mission is to pay skilled artisans fair wages so that they can build the lives they want and deserve. Ganesh Himal is a member of the Fair Trade Federation and partners with hundreds of Nepali artisans.

Most of Ganesh Himal's knit items are crafted by women in their homes while their children are at school. Organized into small neighborhood groups, each team elects a leader who coordinates the weekly workflow–picking up pre-dyed wool, delivering materials and orders, and collecting finished pieces for delivery to the main office. At the main office, items receive finishing touches, lining, and final quality control.
