2025 was a record-setting year for HumanKind Fair Trade, and the impact you helped create reached farther than ever before. From empowering artisans around the world to showing up for our local community, here’s what this year looked like in numbers.

$472,033 Invested in Global Fair Trade Enterprises

Every purchase made in our stores and online helped fuel dignified employment, safe working conditions, and sustainable livelihoods for artisans across the globe. Because of your purchases, nearly half a million dollars went directly into fair trade supply chains, which is proof that people like you truly care about creating a more equitable economy.

48 Volunteers

Community is at the core of everything we do. In 2025, 48 incredible volunteers supported our mission:

• 35 in San Luis Obispo
• 14 in Kingsburg

Their generosity makes our work possible as they spend hours processing incoming shipments, educating customers about fair trade, and keeping our shops neat and organized. We could not do what we do without them!

$4,072 Donated to Local and International Nonprofits

Giving back remains a priority. This year, we donated over $4,000 to organizations doing meaningful work near and far.

Fun fact: $2,004 came directly from 2% Tuesday, turning everyday shopping into steady community support.

2,151 Finger Puppets Sold

Colorful, joyful, and full of personality – our handmade finger puppets once again stole the show. After 16 years as a fan favorite, they’re still spreading smiles (and fair trade impact) one puppet at a time.

30 Rugs Purchased

Our inaugural rug event was a milestone moment. Each rug purchased represents artisan craftsmanship, cultural tradition, and a customer choosing beauty with purpose.

1,996 Online Orders Fulfilled

Nearly 2,000 orders shipped out in 2025, proving that small teams can make a big impact. Every order placed on our website represented a conscious choice by an individual to support a small, ethical business.

40 countries

Our goods were sourced from 40 different countries across the globe!

Fun fact: We were able to purchase from one new country this year. Our new line of Christmas stockings were hand-knitted by women in Armenia!

1 New Location Opened

In 2025, HumanKind Fair Trade expanded into California’s Central Valley with our first seasonal pop-up shop in Kingsburg, bringing fair trade goods, education, and impact to a brand-new community.

These numbers tell an incredible story, but they only exist because of you: our shoppers, volunteers, partners, and supporters. As we head into a new year, we’re inspired, grateful, and more committed than ever to doing business for global good.
