Good Paper is not just a greeting card company. This social enterprise exists to bring hope and opportunities to people around the world.
In the Philippines, Good Paper employs women who have escaped from trafficking and provides good jobs for these women who need sustainable employment and a caring environment. As these women learn the art of card making and letterpress, they gain confidence in their new skills.
In Rwanda, Good Paper works with younger adults who were orphaned by the genocide in the 1990s or the AIDS epidemic today. They are able to gain new skills as they learn card making and can support themselves and their families with the fair income they earn.
When you give a card from good paper you are not only making a friend or family member smile with your thoughtful note, you are also contributing to the employment of the people in Rwanda and the Philippines who are creating these cards.
