dZi brings us beautifully handcrafted goods from artisans in the Himalayas. Their name comes from the traditional Tibetan dzi (pronounced ‘zee’) bead, which is believed to evoke positive spiritual benefits. Their products are inspired by mystical signs and elements of nature, and we love the energy they bring into the store.
As a founding member of the Fair Trade Federation, dZi connects their artisans to the global market, which enables them to invest in their future and communities. dZi is committed to paying prompt and fair wages, supporting safe working conditions, and developing transparent relationships. They work with seven producer groups in India and thirteen in Nepal, who employ over 1,000 artisans. They have been in operation for thirty years.
