Ganesh Himal has been working in Nepal since 1984 to bring high quality handcrafted products made by small cottage industries to retail shops in North America. The goal of Ganesh Himal is to support work that enhances people's lives and traditions.

Ganesh Himal works with artisan group Sadle Tailors in Bhaktapur, Nepal to create clothing and other product out of sustainable materials such as hemp, no kill leather and recycled rubber inner tubes. They source all of their raw material from Nepal which helps support the local economy.

Maker Ram Bahadur made this shirt. He is over 60 years old and cannot read or write but is recognized as a pattern and fabric cutting master. Coming from a family of tailors spanning more than 4 centuries, Ram began his career learning the craft from his father as a teenager.
